Recently, the cognitive rehabilitation system developed by Hangzhou NEUREAL Technology Co., Ltd. was officially deployed at Wuhan Mental Health Center. The introduction of this system helps the hospital further enrich its cognitive rehabilitation methods, improve rehabilitation service processes, and provide technical support for the digital transformation of clinical rehabilitation services.

Founded in 1956, Wuhan Mental Health Center is Hubei Province’s first Class III Grade A psychiatric specialty hospital, integrating medical care, teaching, scientific research, prevention, and rehabilitation. In terms of rehabilitation services and digital construction, the Changfu Campus adheres to the concept of “combining peacetime and wartime preparedness, integrating medical care with prevention, and coordinating healthcare with eldercare,” focusing on developing specialty departments such as geriatric psychiatry and psychosomatic rehabilitation to lay a foundation for improving the rehabilitation service system. Currently, the campus has procured equipment including transcranial magnetic navigation systems and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) brain imaging systems, and plans to establish a dementia prevention and treatment unit. It continues to enhance diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitation capabilities, creating conditions for elderly individuals with cognitive impairment to receive more systematic services.

In relation to the hospital’s existing operations, the deployment of this cognitive rehabilitation system serves as a supplement to the cognitive rehabilitation work at the Changfu Campus, supporting geriatric psychiatry and the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of cognitive impairment. The introduction of the system helps enrich current rehabilitation methods and provides a practical basis for optimizing future rehabilitation service processes and advancing digital construction.

The deployment of the cognitive rehabilitation system at Wuhan Mental Health Center represents another step in NEUREAL’s ongoing efforts to promote the application of cognitive rehabilitation technologies. As relevant use cases expand, technologies such as AI and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) are expected to provide greater support for medical institutions in improving rehabilitation services. NEUREAL will continue to explore the integration of these technologies with medical service scenarios based on cognitive rehabilitation needs, helping drive rehabilitation services toward greater standardization and convenience.
