Conference Objectives

Currently, non-invasive brain-computer interface technologies such as VR, fNIRS, A-TMS, and tDCS have demonstrated outstanding application value in areas including depression, anxiety disorder, ADHD, and schizophrenia rehabilitation, providing new non-pharmacological intervention options for mental illnesses. However, the industry still faces numerous pain points, including insufficient clinical evidence, lack of standards, obstructed translation pathways, ethical issues in pediatric intervention, and difficulties in insurance coverage implementation. This conference adheres to principles of small scale, deep engagement, and practical results, inviting core industry representatives for closed-door discussions to consolidate consensus on clinical applications and break down barriers to technology implementation. Hangzhou NEUREAL Technology has deeply cultivated the brain-machine healthcare sector, independently developed multimodal BCI fusion intervention systems, holds multiple medical device registration certificates, and has deployed products in numerous hospitals nationwide. It has long collaborated with local mental health institutions to conduct clinical evidence-based research. By leading this conference, NEUREAL aims to promote the standardized and regulated clinical implementation of brain-machine technology.
Leveraging the industry influence of the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Psychiatric Association, this pre-conference special session "Brain-Machine Fusion · Empowering Smart Psychiatry" adheres to the principle of "small scale, deep engagement, and practical results." It specially invites authoritative experts in psychiatry, clinical backbone professionals, and core representatives from the brain-computer interface industry to conduct in-depth discussions on key issues regarding clinical translation of technology, striving to achieve three core values:
01 Consolidate Expert Consensus, Standardize Clinical Practice
Create a non-public, high-end discussion platform, inviting core domain experts for in-depth dialogue, exchanging cutting-edge academic views, sharing frontline clinical experience, and accumulating high-value professional insights. Focus on indications selection, efficacy evaluation criteria, and clinical operation standards for brain-computer interfaces in psychiatric diagnosis and treatment, co-developing standards to forge expert consensus and provide authoritative guidance for clinical practice.
02 Bridge Industry-Academia-Medicine Collaboration, Accelerate Clinical Translation
Facilitate direct communication between technology developers and clinical users, accurately grasp clinical needs, optimize product design, and explore efficient pathways for translating scientific and technological achievements into clinical applications, thereby accelerating the industrialization process of brain-computer interface technology.
03 Explore Ethical Boundaries, Promote Healthy Development
Discuss ethical challenges and regulatory frameworks in the application of brain-computer interfaces in psychiatric care, particularly concerning vulnerable groups such as children, to ensure safe, effective, and compliant technology deployment, fostering the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.

Keynote Speeches: Leading experts will share the latest progress in brain-computer interface research and its applications in psychiatry.
Panel Discussion: Representatives from academia, industry, and clinical settings will engage in multi-perspective debates on critical topics such as clinical evidence generation, standard formulation, and insurance access.
Case Sharing: Successful examples of brain-computer interface applications in psychiatric hospitals across China will be presented, offering replicable and promotable practical experiences.
